Rows and rows…

Remember these fabrics?

New Four Square Quilt

They are now this quilt top :):

NewFourSquareQuiltTop

This is another version of the Four Square Quilt from Moda Bake Shop (remember the giraffes?) – the fabrics in the scrappy blocks are mainly from the Rouenneries Deux line by French General for Moda with a little Zanzibar (PB Textiles – unearthed from the stash), and Millefiore by Kaffe Fassett thrown in. The black/beige accent print is from basicgrey by Little Black Dress for Moda.

Though I wish I could take credit for the colour selection (yum!), my awesome daughter-in-law Michelle (who requires that I refer to her in this manner :)) selected the fabric from a grouping put together at our one of our local quilt shops. As this quilt is a commission for A-DIL-M :), all that remains is for her to find backing and batting to complete the work!

I can (and will) take credit for putting it all together!

Happy sewing!
