As promised, here is the first finish in the sewing room (I know – it’s about time, right?)!
It’s not perfect, but if you remember the original picture of the sewing room, it’s better than having the memo board leaning crookedly against the wall on top of the cubbies. I created a frame for the memo board from strips of 1 inch wide pine and then attached moulding to the frame, overlapping the edge of the memo board, to hold it in place. There are a couple of extra holes where I tried to place a screw right on top of the one in the frame below 😦 but I’m trying really hard not to be a perfectionist about this one because it’s done!
Next up – window treatment? Paint? Desk? So much to do….
